A Long Overdue Chuppdate Update #5 (a post for Gramma and in thanks to God)

 

These Chuppdate Updates are supposed to happen on a regular basis…
But I think it has been a while.
See– “Chickens, Cheetos, & Colsons”  or  “I’m Thankful the Redbox Was Broken”

And today my mom’s email was titled– “Anybody there?”

And her content was– “Hey? Where are you guys?”

So this is a post for Grandma and a thankful-pause because:

For spiders captured
and a dinner-movie-date with my guy to see the Spiderman movie!

For Naptime-ink-pad-art-adventures…

For tonsils that are out…

For the ever expanding nature table…

 For Lydia turning three (and Aunt Jenn as Tinkerbell)…

For Jennie Allen’s book– Anything (which I clearly loved)…

 For great times in Bend with family and watching my 85-year-old-Pop paddle board down the Deschutes…

For free Slurpees at 7-Eleven on 7-11…

 For more Creation wonder (notes from The God of Wonders movie)…

 For lots of bark dust. Lots.

  For braces that are on !!!

 For feeding llamas and swim parties…

 For County Fair rides with neighbor buddies…

 For kids who volunteer to hold large pythons…

 For The Great Oregon Steam Up…

 For not having to get my flour this way…

For not having to wash my laundry that way…

For The Bug-Whisper-er

 For Lopez Lomong’s book– Running for My Life

For our first family photo in FOREVER !!!

 For backyard-fort-building… and the neighbor’s free-junk-pile.  Thankful?

 For our fixed  missionary map board… and every person represented by a pin

For an incredibly beautiful visit to Little Crater Lake…

 For camping fun…

 For camping beauty…

 For warm weather, pools and good buddies…

 For the eggs that are piling up…

 For the chickens that stare at us while we attempt to eat the eggs…

 For finally getting some yummy tomatoes…

For the aftermath of our Voodoo-doughnut-taste-testing…

 For fun at the cousins’…

 For fun with the cousins…

For sand that is always fun…

 For Lydi and Benny-the-OSU-Beaver…a sign that fall is just around the corner!

 

Thanking God for these crazy-fun-filled-summer-days…
And praying for the start of school,
which believe it or not, starts in TWO WEEKS !!!
