Praying for the Hartfeld and Springstead families tonight…

As Jacob and Stacey head home awaiting hospice.

Please join us in praying for Stacey and Jacob and their little ones.

Dear Stacey & Jacob,

Oh sweet friends…
All day long.
All day long God has brought you to mind.

And every place I went today…the conversation brought your family into our presence.
So many are praying for you.
So many are blessed and encouraged by your trust in Him.
My heart is aching for you…the kiddos…but it makes Heaven all that much more of a longing.

Stacey & Jacob–we know that you are clinging to God’s love for you.

For your kiddos, we are praying His comfort and love will surround them in a way that surpasses all understanding and that this will be the piece of the puzzle that pulls each one of their hearts to Him in a deep, real, authentic, life-altering way…

That somehow through this…they will know His love in a deeper way.
That they will know who God truly is and how very much He loves them.

Everywhere I went today…conversations and prayers are for your family.
We all love you and are praying…

Love, kara (for all)

And for more ways to weep with…

“For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence,
    for my hope is from him.
He only is my rock and my salvation,
    my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
 On God rests my salvation and my glory;
    my mighty rock, my refuge is God.

Trust in him at all times, O people;
    pour out your heart before him;
    God is a refuge for us.”

~Psalm 62: 5-8

  5. LeAnn Williams says:

    What a lovely heartfelt and full of faith post. I read her story from the beginning and as a Hospice nurse for several years I can relate to how hard this has been for Stacy. She will be in my prayers and they have all fought a good fight and I too know that the Lord will bring them peace and comfort.
    Blessings for your sweet thoughts today!

  6. Heather Windeler says:

    I am joining in prayer, this made me cry and think of a friend who we lost, but heaven gained around this time last year. I remember sitting with her when she went home to be on hospice.. . Praying!

  7. Praying for this family and for you as you minister to them. Praise God for placing you in their lives to bless them.

Would love to hear your thoughts...
