Who I Am

About three years ago…
Something crazy happened, but I know God’s hand was in it.

There was an online “competition” called– The Top 25 Faith Blogs and somehow I ended up in the mix.

And then, not because I really belong in the “Top 25 Faith Blogs,”
But because I have such incredible friends who kept voting for me.
And because of some bizarre feud that started between the “pagan bloggers” and “Christian bloggers”…
I ended up squeaking my way onto that list.

Which led to some interesting connections and budding-online-friendships.
Which finally resulted in a writing spot at a website called– The Better Mom.
And it has become a second online-home to me,
Where God has allowed deep, real friendships to develop and where on a regular basis I am both encouraged an exhorted by the women I now consider my–

And this month at The Better Mom, we are running a series called–
“Who We Are– The Stories Behind the Better Mom Writers.”

Today is my day to introduce myself and to share a bit about who I am and why I write online…
I would love to have you join me over there.
With Love,

P.S.  I’m starting a new series soon called– “Letters to Myself”
Because I don’t want to forget all of the things I really want to remember…

You are always a fun read. I liked the idea of writing “Letter’s To Me”. I do keep a journal or I would not have very many memories. I will pop over and read your latest post on Better Mom. Blessings for this one!

    • Thank you LeAnn…I posted here a little early…I’m still terrible about actually scheduling to my posts to go live, so if you jumped over…it may not have been there yet.

I’m with ya on the journal… and I have this whole list of things I want to remind myself not to forget…

Thank you for always faithfully reading here and for always encouraging… Love, K

We miss spending time with your family, especially now with our two. Our weekly Bible study group was always a lot of fun with all those kiddos running around. I can just image how more crazy it would be with our 12/13 year old girls running the show for the kids. What a lot of fun it would be.

I look forward to reading the letters to yourself. I’ve written a few of my own, mostly because I am so forgetful the older I get:). Thanks for sharing this story!

  4. Oh my, the top faith blogs cray cray!!! Lol! That is a memory I try to forget. Haha! BUT I’m so overjoyed to read how God worked in it and brought you to The Better Moms! I LOVE that! God is so very good!!! {And may I never ask anyone to ever vote for me for anything again – I should have applied Jeremiah 45:5…and since I didn’t…it got messy – so thankful for the grace of God. I’m a work in progress.}
    Lots of Love,

Would love to hear your thoughts...
